Those who knew Vera Wilson, who has been part of our church family for over 40 years, will be saddened to hear of her death on Monday. She spent her last few years in a nursing home in Netley where she was loved and cared for. Please pray for friends and the staff at Abbey House who will miss Vera. Her faith in her Lord remained strong to the end. Details of the cremation service are available from Heather May.

Anne Bowles had been in hospital for a several weeks with declining health.  She was well cared for and on Friday night, when the nurses went to turn her, she took a big sigh and breathed her last.

She was lovingly and faithfully supported by her small group. Mary Grasmeder had been able to visit on Wednesday and says "we are happy that Anne is in a better place and we look forward to seeing her there at some point in the future.  May she rest in peace (with a few laughs and a bit of fun along the way),"
