In this season, loneliness and isolation are even more acute. So Caraway is joining in with Southampton’s reflection of the Mayflower 400 anniversary to offer a ‘Virtual Holiday at Home’ on Tuesday 10 November.

Caraway is a charity working across Southampton with older people in the community and in care to create the experience of a ‘Virtual Holiday at Home’. Based around the themes of freedom and exploration. 

Board the Mayflower from the comfort of your own home for a virtual day at sea.  You will set sail for the day with a hand delivered holiday pack that will include themed activities & crafts and an afternoon tea.  If you have internet access, you can join us on our interactive Zoom for Sea Shanty singing and Mayflower Bingo.

This is a free event for those that are older but young at heart.  Hosted by Caraway’s Holiday at Home, it is generously supported with funding from Southampton City Council and National Heritage Fund.
