A huge thanks to all those who supported and prayed for A Taste of Spring last week. Over 170 Holiday Bags were delivered across our city, with many happy doorstep conversations. Working with others in our community, a Zoom Gathering with 46 participants was warmly received with much excitement at identifying friends as we scrolled along the screens! Senior Saints and a local Folk Musician, Jim Chorley entertained us with songs new and old.

This was a such a lovely way of reaching those who remain isolated at the moment, bringing a little cheer into our lives (both volunteers and guests alike!) Comments pouring in include:

" In our breakout room one lady didn’t want that to stop as, “ it was so nice to be having a chat as that is something we miss so much.”

"I also enjoyed being able to see a few real live people when delivering the packs and one lady (not known to me) seemed to think it was a foretaste of heaven...so we talked a little about how good that will be!!”
