Devoted - June 2021
'They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship' Acts 2:42
Join us for Devoted - an opportunity for our whole church family to learn and grow together.
As we move into a season of rebuilding, God has reminded us of the importance of growing together by studying his word, going deeper in our understanding, sharing and encouraging each other and putting what we learn into practice in our daily lives.
In June, we will start a seven week sermon series looking at Acts 2: 42-47 (and other parts of Acts 2-8), going back to basics about what it means to be a disciple. We ask you to join us on Sundays and in addition, to dedicate some time in your week to go deeper into the word and put it into practice.
There are a number of ways that you can join in:
Already in a small group? - Our mid week teaching notes are coming to your leaders each week ready for your virtual or in person groups.
Not in a small group yet? - Join us each Wednesday evening throughout the seven week series (starting 16 June) at 7.30pm in church, or online, where we will gather for a time of worship, word and study. We will break into groups of no more than six to look together at the mid week teaching notes. Click here to register your interest.
Not in a small group yet but can't make Wednesday evenings? Not to worry! Our mid week teaching notes will be available to everyone on our website. So why not commit to studying with your housemate, spouse or a friend you meet up for coffee with?
However you choose to engage with Devoted, we encourage you to be part of our community through our new Devoted Facebook Group. Here we will keep the discussion going through the week and share and encourage one another in what God is showing us. We hope to post videos clips from Sundays sermons, recommendations and discussion starters to help our journey together.
