Barbara Sandys (nee Gilliam) passed away peacefully on 1 November, aged 95.

Mother of Cara and Jonathan, mother-in-law of Lin and grandmother of Emma and Oliver.

Barbara's husband Michael died in 1984.

Barbara was a volunteer at the RSH League of Friends for 20 years, a member of the Mother's Union in Chandlers Ford and was christened, confirmed and married at Highfield Church, Southampton. Her body was donated to medical science. A celebration of her life will take place next Spring at Highfield Church. Donations can be made to The Stroke Association and RNLI.

Barbara lived life to the full and her beautiful smile will be remembered forever.
