GET INVOLVED WITH OUR COMMUNITY
We run a number of events throughout the week to support the older people in our church and local community.
VINTAGE ADVENTURE
Meets for coffee and cake, a creative exploration of a Bible passage, time to chill and chat, and a delicious light lunch.

TUESDAY SUPPER & DRINKS
An opportunity for those living with or supporting those who have dementia. Come and make new friends or catch up with existing ones over dinner and/or drinks. These gatherings are supported by the Alzheimer's Society.

HOLIDAY AT HOME
An annual Summer event for all those who are older but young and adventurous at heart! Each holiday includes a delicious themed lunch and refreshments.
Previous years' holiday themes have been: Off to France (2016), Anchors Away (2017) and Scotland's Highlands and Islands (2018). Entertainment and activities have previously included: a themed photo booth, live music, exercise sessions and quizzes.
FILM AFTERNOONS
Friendly and fun film, tea and cake afternoons run by Caraway and supported by Dementia Friends and the Solent NHS trust.
These afternoons are free of charge and run between 2-4.30pm in the Church Centre Lounge. Please visit Caraway's website for details of our next gathering.
CARE HOMES
We have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who visit and conduct services in care homes on a rota basis each month.
If you are interested in joining this team, please contact the Church Office.
RESOURCE & REFRESH DAYS
An annual event for all those serving our older community across the city and beyond to be resourced and refreshed.
Previous days have begun with coffee and pastries at 9.30am, then a guest speaker has given an inspirational talk and we've enjoyed lunch together before finishing around 4pm. Further information and future dates available from the Church Office.
