OUR VISION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
We want every young person to feel part of a community that belongs to a God who is relevant and worthy of our trust. We aim to be people who have a clear role and a hope to hold onto so that we shine like a beacon of good news and hope to each other and in our community. In our youth work, this is expressed as: ‘sharing lives, growing friendships, following Jesus’.
YOUTH ON FRIDAY NIGHTS
An opportunity for young people to gather throughout the term, chat about the Bible and enjoy socials such as nurf nights, silent discos, beach trips and rock climbing!
YOUTH ON SUNDAYS
Young people in school years 7-9 are welcome to join us during the 9.30am services in term time.
Those in school years 10-13 are encouraged to attend our weekly 6.30pm services.
Thursday evening gatherings for those in school years 10-13. Join us as we dive deeper into the Bible and into big questions!
We invite those in school years 11-13 to check out Psalm 63 then join us at SixtyThree: bi-monthly gatherings in church, run by our Student Ministry Team.
These evenings are dedicated to worshipping Jesus and praying. They don't have an agenda, just putting time aside to spend time with him, allowing him to speak to us and reveal his power.
Our annual weekend away in March is packed with outdoor activities, engaging talks, small group time, worship, campfire and so much more!
It's a great opportunity to chat about God more together, spend time socialising and have lots of fun!
Every summer in Peterborough, we meet with thousands of other Youth from churches across the country to worship God, learn what it means to live for Jesus, to pray for one another, and to have loads of fun!
