SUNDAYS

WHEN WE MEET AND WHAT TO EXPECT

Sundays are the time in the week when we gather as a family to celebrate all God has been doing with us in the week gone by and to be fed and sent out into the week ahead.  Things look a little different in church in this season of COVID-19, but we are really excited to be meeting together to worship again. Each week we broadcast live streams from some of our services, so that you can worship with us online from home.

We have had to reduce the number of seats available inside the church building to make sure everyone can stay socially distanced , so we ask that you reserve your seat in advance if you would like to attend a service in church. You can reserve your seat by going to our service calendar, clicking on the service you would like to attend, and filling out the reservation form.

Please note that times are subject to change during the school holidays. To find out when we're meeting this week please visit our services calendar

FAQs

WHAT COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?

To keep everyone safe we are following 2 metre social distancing, making face coverings mandatory for everyone aged 11 or over (unless you are exempt), and asking everyone to wash or sanitize their hands on arrival.  You can read full details of the safety measures in place here.  If you or someone you live with has had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, you must not come to church.

ARE ALL SUNDAYS THE SAME?

No, each week is different. Content wise, talks will be tailored to the current sermon series so will be different depending on the theme. Service timings may vary during the school holidays and for special services such as Remembrance Sunday and during Advent, so please do keep an eye on our service calendar to take note of any upcoming changes.

I'M WORRIED I WON'T KNOW ANYONE. CAN YOU HELP?

We have teams on hand to welcome newcomers, help find answers to your questions and have a good chat each Sunday. Please do introduce yourself to our team on the door as you arrive, as they'd love to introduce you to our community.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE ON OFFER FOR MY FAMILY?

Our Highfield Kids groups meet during the 10.30am services in term time. YTH CHRCH, our service for young people, streams live on YouTube on Sundays during term time.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No, wear whatever you feel comfortable in, whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or suit and tie, we don't mind!

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR & BUGGY ACCESS?

Yes, both of our main entrances into church are suitable for wheelchair users and buggies. There is a step as you enter the building but we have a ramp that enables easy access, it's no trouble to install so please do ask a member of our welcome team to help.

DO YOU HAVE A LOOP SYSTEM FOR HEARING AIDS?

Yes, look out for the signs around the church building or ask our welcome team.
